Ansel Adams was born on February 20, 1902. He died on April 22, 1984. He was born in San Fransisco, California. His father was Charles Hitchcock Adams was a businessman. His mother was Olive Bray.He grew up in a house near the sand dunes by the Golden Gate.
Ansel Adams is a environmentalist. He is best known for his black and white photographs. He did do some painting and color photography also. He highlighted issues that involved nature and created really good photographic murals of his time. He was inspired by Paul Stand.
He was well known for the patient beauty of his work, and also because of the timeless beauty of his work. He is a visionary because of his efforts to preserve the country’s wild and scenic areas both on film and on Earth. Environmentalist believe that Ansel Adams is monumental. He is also a national institution to photographers.
Adams early success in photography was because of the Sierra Club. His first photograph and writing was put on a bulletin in the Sierra Club. He had his first one man exhibition in 1928. And he was elected in 1934 to be on the clubs board. He described himself as a photographer, lecturer, and writer.
